Well I thought I had found the issue movements ago, but now am actually more confused. Here’s what I did.
1) I copied the game from the external to internal drive (so I could show the issue in store if asked)
2) Disconnecte the external drive and ran from the internal.
3) Game ran fine in 4k native.
4) Assuming it was connected to the ext drive, I removed from internal and reconnected external.
5) Launched Game from external.
6) Strangely, it ran in 4k native, so I now don’t know.
Unfortunately, I didn’t try it from the external before copying this morning. I wonder if it could be related to the console being cold from sitting overnight, rather than having been on for a few hours, setting up and installing et , when I tried it before.
I’m now not sure whether I should take it back for exchange or not? |
