Xbox One X Noise..is this Normal with a Disc?

Hey guys. Have searched a bunch of YouTube videos on this subject and none seem to sound like mine. Now im not sure if it’s because the phone is picking up more sound or due to the cabinet or whatever. But here’s a link to my video of the sound mine is making. Is this normal?? I picked up the one X a couple days ago. It makes this noise when I have the Forza 7 disc in and playing. I’ve played for 3 hours and no issues, except the noise.

Mine does not make that noise, mine is quiet even with a disc in. There have been people here on this forum who have had noisy drives. Some had them swapped out.

Even with no disc in you don’t get a slight groaning like my video without disc in?

Hey SevloW. I ended up exchanging for a new one. It seems better but I’m not sure if this is normal now? Here’s the link to the new one and the noise it makes. This is on the main menu screen with no disc in.

Yes, mine sounds like that. It's not noticeable to me when playing games. That is much better than your original one.
