i messed up

i soft modded my original xbox and accidentally installed XBMC i attempted to change it back and ended up getting a service code 13. but when i put the disc in the game boots (splinter cell) but the soft mod menu doesnt come up it just restarts splinter cell.....please help is my xbox completely toast or is it salvageable
