Question Xbox one control broken

Hello everyone, my Xbox one pad has started scrolling to the right, is there a way I can find out if it's the d pad or analogue stick that's the problem? I've tried pressing left on both to see if it's stuck right but it instantly scrolls back on both.

Just to add, I just put a game on and no scrolling issues, it only happens on the Xbox main menu.

I tried my harmony 1 on the Xbox to confirm it was the pad, it worked fine, I connected the pad to my pc installed the driver and calibrated it, no buttons showing as pressed, turned the Xbox back on and it's working perfect.
