Xbox gold. Can I share it between 2 consoles in the same home?

I've just bought our youngest a second hand xbox, mainly due to him using his older brothers xbox all the time wanting to play fortnite.
The problem I've got is we already have xbox gold or live or whatever its called on one xbox, do I need to purchase it again to use on the 2nd console?
Or, what I'm hoping for, can I just use the existing xbox gold and add an additional account/console to it?
Any help before 3.30pm will be greeted with a million thank you's as I'm trying to set it up before he gets back from school [emoji3]

Yes you can.
It's done via Home Console and Game Sharing.
