Question What is the difference between these Xbox services?

Hi,

I'm about to switch to Xbox and in addition to signing up for the Game Pass, I'm going to sign up for the multiplayer service. I'm not sure how to sign up though as I hear different terms used to describe this.

Perhaps a silly question but can someone tell me what the following are as these are the terms I have seen used:

What is Xbox Live?
What is Xbox Live Gold?
What is Xbox Games with Gold?

Before you get games pass, I highly recommend you check out boomerang rentals if your in the uk
