Can't answer directly but I've got the model that came directly before this - the 27UD68P - and it's an exceptional monitor.
The UK600 hadn't been released when I was looking earlier in the year so I settled for a second hand UD68P (admittedly at half the cost of the UK600). It doesn't do true HDR10 - it has 8 bit colour with FRC, but there wasn't a monitor available at the time that did true HDR. The X1X doesn't therefore recognise is as HDR compliant, but as I understand it you do get at least some of the HDR benefit. It's certainly a huge improvement on the 1080P gaming monitor I was using before, which itself was well-regarded.
This looks to have true 10 bit HDR, so it should be recognised by the console automatically. On the strength of how impressed I've been with the UD68P, and with this being the successor model, I don't think you'll go far wrong. |
