The game still ends though doesn't it? Would be funny if the enemy dropped a nuke and only you survived to walk around the map like something out of Fallout 3 until the time ran out

lol, that would be well funny. But unfortunately yeah it did end.

Was just very strange. I have only been nuked 3 times now and i survived 1. Not a bad ratio in my eyes

When you're in an AC130 you are way above the blast so it doesn't get you, you aren't really laying in a trench as such as you are up in the air!

There is a couple of You-Tube Videos - can't find them now as at work - but they are very interesting - its like a "Are these rumours True or False" - they confirmed that you can survive a nuke by calling a killstreak reward in with a laptop at a certain point. Others - jumping on a car from roof makes car explode, stab mirror in barbers causes you to die - shoot a window once means you can see through smoke grenades, get yourself killed by a fire hydrant etc. Try to find it - there are 3 parts to the video. TP has it linked on his favourates if you have checked TP's videos out

Really - What do they do pick up up in a helicopter and drop you off to get into the AC130

You are still on the ground - thats why you can be killed (even flashed as you can't see the laptop screen) - you use a laptop as you control the AC130's weapons by remote

I thought you controlled the AC130, chopper gunner, and Predator remotely from your laptop - you are still on the ground as I've been killed many times while I've been doing this (I'm not very good at finding a good hiding place).

And that reminds me - I was awarded a predator at the weekend, opened the laptop and found a chump to aim it at but then the game went into host migration. After all the "transferring blocks" mullarkey it finally came back to life just to see the laptop closing animation - my predator had just vanished, I was a bit miffed about that.

In this game yes but not in real life because as you say it would not be very practical. However I've just watched those myth buster video's you pointed out and it seems it's a glitch when opening the laptop at the right time however it still goes down as a kill for the person who set off the nuke.

They are good videos - some interesting myths confirmed and busted - I tried the mirror knifing and that didn't seem to work although jumping on the car did

Found some useful info - like on Afghan where you normally need the no fall damage perk (commando pro ??)
to jump off the ledge overlooking the busted plane and bunker but if you land on the discarded mattresses you don’t need this perk as you land and live.
