Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Discussion Thread *Part 2*

Last night was a bit frustrating for me - I kept coming across spanish or french players who just appeared to skitter around the map. One second they'd be right in my sights so I'd be shooting at them then they would just vanish and pop up a few feet away, next second I'd be watching the killcam.

I don't think they were cheating or anything like that, it's just the unfairness of the game engine.

I did spot an  obvious lag switcher at one point though.

Oddly, i did notice yesterday all my games (free for all) were with french, german and spanish people. Maybe it was just because they were all using headsets for once, but i didn't come across any english players, but then again maybe they didnt have headsets. Who knows. Donn't know if that has anything to do with the lag issues i had?

spot on, this was happening in just about every game. I was either  3 or -1 apart from 1 game where I managed to unleash the chopper gunner

Maybe MW2 went into host migration mode and you became the host for that game?

I hope not as my line can only handle 2.5 meg I remember hosting a zombies match which crashed @ level 29 The grief I got that night
I think I was a little lucky in getting a double kill with the predetor and the harrier and claymores did the rest. Another 26 kill streak and the Nuke aint unlocked Not too bothered as not having the nuke emblem may have a little more prestige, these days

Ak-47 is one of the best in game!

Just don't put any attachments on it or it'll get sway when ADS (except the ACOG but that adds recoil).  It's best pure... I enjoyed it everytime I hit 70 and used nothing but that to get me the exp to prestige.

juxt went 56 for 6 in domination, my internet had been going frequently so i was scared just hoping for the game to finish so it could count

in the end i got my 2nd chopper gunner out and was quite sad to see the game end with it still out

yh i had a 29 kill streak, if i had nuke selected i probs would of had 15 nukes by now but as it stands i just have the one

lots of people who have actually have the nuke emblem are not that good aa most of them are either campers or boosters

so the emblem has lost all its worth recently

I thought I would check out some of my stats yesterday as most of the games I remember are the really bad ones. I'm allway's thinking to myself how crap I am at the game.

Anyway after a little over 6 day's play and some real bad games like spawn/die, spawn/die, spawn/die etc I noticed that even on my worst game there must have been someone worse off than me.

I have 0 shortest life rewards and 0 longest death streak rewards.

Some of the other bad playing rewards have larger number's, but I was amazed to find these were still on zero.

A few times now, after coming out of host migration it has returned me to the choose class screen.

I choose my class again and the game starts at zero for me, as if I just joined.

Also a couple of times if I was just killed and host migration kicks in I fall through the ground. When the game resumes I'm not dead just wounded.
