Sumo buys Everybody's Gone to the Rapture studio The Chinese Room

Chinese Room had laid off all staff after completing Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and have said their next game will not be a walking simulator. That said, it’s hard to see what they’ve acquired beyond Dan Pinchbeck.

The other founder, Jessica Curry, who composed the fabulous soundtrack to EGTTR is moving on.  

Sumo have most recently been working on Crackdown 3 and Forza Horizon 3, but previously worked on PS exclusives such as LBP 3.
