First thing first. I'm newbie here. I try to search the forum about PS Now specific thread, cannot find about it. If there are already a thread about PS Now, just forgive me. Moderator can delete this thread.

I am about to try the PS Now, but my connection at home only 5 MBps, is it really worth for streaming purposes? The reason i want to play it due to the Last of Us game. I want to play it via my PC

If anyone here ever tried the PS Now subcription, maybe can share the experience about it

I had it for a while, found it pretty good if you are interested in playing PS3 games. When you sign up it tests your connection, and you also get a free trial so you can see if it works ok for you.

just looked on my ps4 and entered the psnow app they are currently offering rejoin for a month for £1

so obviously as its a rejoin offer you previously have had to have used it before with a free trial or subscribed

I tried it the free trial on PS4 a few months ago and when it worked it was impressive, but emphasis on when.

It would randomly kick me off the service saying my connection had degraded for no reason even though there was nothing going on at a network level that would cause that.

If they offer a trial version via PC do that first.

hi, I'm new here too.
I tried PS Now as a free trial. My internet connection is really good so it was nice to play some games. However I don't think that it is worth to have PS Now and PS  together because 1) it costs more moneyyy 2) I didn't use PS now very often.
Now I have only PS

I've been tempted but maybe I don't play enough for it. I think if they had an offer though I might get on board.

I tried it with the week trial, it was horrible, the resolution was horrific, all blurry, maybe it's better now

I tried it for a month or 2. The connection was never perfectly stable enough and it ruined the experience for me.

I gave PSNow a try again recently and the only improvement is that it no longer randomly kicks me off the service.

Image quality varies a lot, even something nearly 30 years old like the Secret of Monkey Island has compression artifacts visible in the video stream, a game with static screens and little animation. PS3 games can look awful muddy and soft on screen too.

The games that work best are 60fps games from PS3/PS4 era, anything that is 30fps & real time feels awful. If it's 30 but slow paced or turned based then it's tolerable. Sadly the bulk of games on PSNow are 30fps.

Sony would be better off running those games on a PC emulator at higher resolution with better FPS to stream over the internet than whatever system they have in place now which likely involves jury-rigged PS3's running the games.
