I'm currently with Virgin Media and decided to get an Asus AC86U to help with WiFi drops. All is well and I followed a guided to forward the ps4 too. I've just received an email from Virgin Media asking me to block or delete port 5353. They have given no instructions and just told me to follow the manufacturers guide which also tells me nothing. Does anyone have a full guide on how to do this? I heard VM will keep sending emails if I don't sort it. Btw I know it's due to the ps4 because it's the only thing I forwarded and typing port 5353 and virgin media on Google points towards a ps4 but sadly people just say they blocked 5353 but no information on how to do it.
I'm failing to understand how that is helpful. I've cleary stated I don't use the hub 3.0 and I'm using the Asus ac86u. What you have linked me to is what my email linked me to, information that doesn't tell me how to resolve the issue using the asus. I appreciate the effort but sadly, that does not help me.
Looking in the manual, you need to configure port triggering I believe. This should close off the ports unless required by specific applications, which will open them for a limited period only.
