I have a stupid set up where the PlayStation 4 pro is in another room to my TV and it’s too far for the controller to work.
I purchased a 20 meter all singing and dancing USB extension cable with active repeaters and it works perfectly.
I wanted to connect a USB hub so I can attach my controller and headphone dongles at the same time but every time I do it, it says “too many hubs connected”. I’ve read this is due to not enough power being supplied but I haven’t even plugged the devices in yet and the error appears.
I also swapped the USB hub for a powered USB hub but still the same problem.
Any suggestions other then purchasing another expensive USB extension cable and running two from the PlayStation. |
