PC will always win, everything, for media playback, gaming, streaming files, everything, if you have the money, PC will always win. But sticking to consoles only, it all depends on what you want from it. While the PS4 does come up trumps tech wise, other than slightly better graphics, at the moment it's all neither here or there power wise.
I was always a Sony die hard, but the PS3 just never did it for me, so I invested into the 360, and got hooked on achievements. During the gen transition, I went with XBOX1 due to amassing so much gamerscore (over 500K with 99% completion) I wasn't prepared to throw that away 8 years of work. So if you have invested into a ton of trophies/achievements on 360 or PS3, then decide if you wish to restart or carry on. If these mean nothing to you, then it will be down to the little quirks of each console.
- PS4 and PS4 Pro is far more stable than XB1 and XB1S - crashes a lot less
- Which controller feels better, both are extremely different
- Exclusives - Sony tends to always win here
- Timed exclusives and timed DLC - Again Sony tends to get most (not all) things first
- XBOX offers better free games every month
- XBOX Sales are usually better than Sony
- Achievement system is superior to Trophies
- XBOX has much better party up system for MP
- XBOX requires batteries for controller - Sony built in
- PS4 Controller battery life is horrendous
- XBOX Plays UHD 4K discs
- Sony has VR |
