best way to connect sega dreamcast with smart tv

Hello there I  have an 40 Pansonic ex 603 Smart TV and I am very happy with it.

After many years I want to  play with my Old Sega dreamcast. Unfortunately my new TV has no scart plug anymore so i was  researching for a solution of my problem. I could either conncect my tv with a scart/HDMI Adapter. or with an VGA HDMI Adapter.  It seems that VGA is the best Signal you can get with  the old Sega Console.

Has anybody of you experience with using the dreamcast on an modern  TV? if so which set up for connection you choose?

Would be happy to hear some opinions about that Topic

Best place to ask is in the hardware section of the Shmups forum. The Dreamcast has fantastic VGA quality & they'll be able to tell you the best way to convert that to HDMI. If you get vague answers, PM Fudoh and he'll give you the definitive answer.

The Dreamcast is in the process of getting an HDMI mod as well which will be even better..
