Unless you can get a Pro cheap your better off saving your money for the PS5 at the end of next year which is the likely launch target, at least thats my view. If money is not an issue sure get a Pro if that deep in the Playstation pool.
I've owned both, as to what I used Xbox for
* Better support for XB1X on third party games - but PS4 Pro was good enough & I've lot interest in many AAA releases.
* back compatible with old Xbox games - a nice trip down memory lane but lots of old games are now getting remasters.
* Quieter than PS4 Pro by a lot - the big difference, the Pro is a noisy machine, eventually I did something about it and applied some suggested mods to the Pro which lowers the noise a bit.
But after the above I sold my XB1X as I just didn't use it that much.
My scenario may not apply to you, if you do want the overall best 4K performance on third party games the XB1X has it. |
