Hi

I quite fancy starting to collect a little “mini arcade” of classic coin-ops.

The Numskulls Quarter Arcade machines look nice and are 1/4 scale and the Replicade machines also look nice but are 1/6 scale!

i don’t want to mix and match scales. Does anyone have experience of either of these or any others?

I think I prefer the 1/6 scale and the detail of Replicade seems awesome with trackballs etc but Numskulls have the “classics” such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders etc.

Cheers

I took the plunge with the Numskulls Quarter Aracde as it's currently £100 at Game (online) for Pacman but still £150 everywhere else.

I like what Replicade have done with Centipede and Tempest - it's very clever replicationg the trackball etc but at the end of the day it's kind of pointless IMO as 1/6 scale with these dvices is too small to be playable.

I think the Quarter Arcade 1/4 scale is small enough to be cute and collectable but still full playable. Plus they've got the iconic titles like Pacman and Space Invaders.
