I'm looking at ordering a new installation this weekend.
Would a Sky employee be so kind as to provide a code for the half price offer? If five or more people use your codes, you will receive a £50 M&S voucher.
Why do you think that Sky employees frequent AV Forums? The last one who came on here bragging that he was a Sky employee (about five years ago) got into so many arguments with people asking him questions and complaining about Sky that he was banned within a month.

Having asked a friend who works for Sky about the introduce a friend scheme he advised me the staff are under strict instructions NOT to give away or sell codes under threat of a disciplinary. You were lucky that someone gave you a code.
Was he? I suspect he either changed his username or decided it was too much risk as Sky apparently do monitor forums such as this one and Skyuser to get an idea what customers are saying.
signed up last week via quidco with £100 cash back & £100 M&S vouchers.
All going great until i found out today that i did a typo mistake on our address.
Instead of house number No 2 i typed in 5 by mistake.
Phones up Sky and after waiting ages gets hold of customer service who then puts me on hold for around 30 mins after i explained the typo problem.
She transfers meto bonny Scotland and after another 40 minutes trying to rectify my house number from 5 to 2, they advise me they can't.
I am told that they will have to cancel my contract then go online go through the motions again and the sky website will tell me that i already have an account and tell me to phone sky on a specific number.
They advised me that when i phone this number i tell them the issue and that they have put a note on my account to verify this and also to confirm the deal (quidco/ M&S vouchers), so that i can get the same deal even though its runout.
Anyway so i phone the number and the guy says nothing i can do as they should not of cancelled my account in the first place and that i would have to wait until the cancellation has gone through the system and then start from scratch.
This means i have totally lost out on a fairly good deal which i cannot get back!
Is there anyone out there with a spare code to cheer me up?!
