I hadn't seen this until I received a survey about it today. Although I had noticed Amazon.co.uk selling lots of movies from various countries recently.
On the face of it I see it is giving me the chance to comapre various versions of a film rather than search through each country's amazon (yeah I do that sometimes!) P&P seems cheaper than going direct to Amazon.com, I haven't ordered yet so don't know about pre-paying customs.
I also see that it's going to get very confusing for some customers who only expect to find uk products only and the reviews section will be even messier than before.
I was just wondering what people's opinion on this are. I think it will improve access to US Blu-rays as this was becoming too expensive and took too long recently, but I have always received great service from European Amazons which I worry will be affected negatively in the future. |
