I suspect they'd argue that they already did. But I'm sure if you or I wanted to start a small manufacturing company making cigarettes, we'd soon find there were absolute mountains of legislation designed to prevent us doing it, and governing every aspect of manufacture. And obviously, despite that, cigarettes are as unhealthy as could possibly be imagined, anyway. So, so much for regulations protecting our health!
Tobacco companies are too powerful. For decades they've been putting all kinds of harmful chemicals into cigarettes in order to heighten addiction. It's good for business. |
