the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) are overseeing UK's compliance with TPD (more info if you google 'MHRA TPD')
the main effects are home brewers will be technically unable to sell their wares (although some may do private sales within their own circle), all liquids need to be registered (and pay relevant fees) and sold in max 10ml bottles. Many manufacturers will be forced out of the market as compliance becomes too expensive.
This is SOOO counter-intuitive!!! They're removing small sizes of baccy and fag packets but large sizes of vape liquids!! And with vaping considered far safer, they should be encouraging it as the alternative rather than battening down on it
As for us, we'll still be allowed to make our own juices at home, but not officially sell them on |
