Vaping makes me cough

I have tried several times to give up smoking and try vaping and each time I fail because it just makes me cough when I inhale

This what I last tried and again no good, I inhale and cough my guts out.
                                                                               

I currently smoke rollies and about 20 small ones a day

So where am I going wrong?

Are you doing mouth to lung or direct to lung? You can tell by the ohm level of your  atomiser

I couldn’t get on with mouth to lung but now I sub ohm and use direct to lung with nic salts it’s so much smoother

Just checked and its a Vapepen 22.  Just seen it on Amazon and loads complain about it leaking, indeed it does, all the time.

That sounds like your problem.
Suck  from the pen directly into your lungs, instead of into your mouth first - then your lungs, like you would a ciggy.

Yeah look up some videos on YouTube if unsure, cant puff that like a cig would get hot and fizz and burn out quick. Hit like a cough cough pipe or bong.
I had a mate who couldn't puff any of mine always coughed untill one day he just hit it hard and properly and knew what I was on about. Next day he ordered a smok alien kit and never touched cigs again.
If want a ciggy style there is tons about but can't get much better than a small I stick 30w and nautilus mini.

I popped into my local vaping shop the other day and got some different juice. It’s much better.

I will get a new viper at some point coz I find my current one too bulky.

Will have a look at the two you mentioned

You're really gonna struggle vaping any juice with 3mg Nicotine... You're not able to replace the nicotine level currently smoking does.

Sub ohming would be classed as for advanced use... there is so many variables to take into consideration, which would be too complicated for a beginner.

Can you post details of your cigarette use? how many are you smoking a day etc, Nicotine level?

I commented on another similar post not so long ago. That might have some valuable information instead of me repeating it here.

When I started vaping it all just went over my head and I had no idea where to start or what it all meant. It did however stop me from smoking and then stopped me from vaping, at least for a few months!
I started with a cheapo pen at £12, then the Smok pen and now some tank thing. I use juice that is chemical free from the website rejuiced and I never cough. It doesn't burn my throat like other eliquids. Start on a low wattage and build up. 0.3mg is perfect for me and at one point I was smoking 30-40 a day! Hope that helps. It is a mindfield but YouTube is brilliant
