Food cooked in a wok, should (in theory) be cooked quickly (thus preserving the vitamins etc) and in relatively little oil and therefore should generally be healthy... but as clearly pointed out above, the takeaways can add stuff as filler, flavour etc and you are perhaps better off without them. Same with Indian, Thai etc etc. As part of a balanced diet its fine as far as I am concerned, we have a take away or meal out about once a month.
I am more bothered about so called "healthy alternatives" such as those fake butters, half fat/low fat, diet versions of foods, where by they take some of the more natual stuff out and replace it will all sorts of rubbish! |
