Anyone own a Garmin 920XT, any good? I have 3 items for my triathlon so thinking of selling all and having 1 gadget to track all.

I have the 910 and it is very good. Also seem it at some very good prices on Amazon. Some friends have the 920 and looks very nice. There is also the new Fenix to consider from Garmin too.

I have the 920 which I use for swim and run but prefer having a separate bike computer. I upgraded from the 910 and thought it was worth it to not use the fiddly usb connection and the gps (how quickly it picks it up) is much better.

Have a 910 and did look at the 920 for a while.  Decided it doesn't do that much different if you strip all the bells and whistles off it. Indeed it bluetooths to GC on your phone so no need to upload via a USB connection.  Although where our computer is and when I come in, it connects anyway.

I like having to be at the computer because I like to edit my workout title and also add notes.

Personally I would hold off if your spending that amount as they will upgrade it to include built in HR detection like the FenixHR.

Fenix 3 owner here - I like it but the software from Garmin always seems to have issues with every update, so always hold off initially and see what other people make of it on the forums.

Also seems to be easily confused in the pool if you happen to change stroke mid length (for those times when the old dears decide to tread water in your lane lol)
