Patch in mouth

Have a patch of white in mouth I've noticed for around two weeks since having an ulcer

Have appointment with dentist tomorrow and Dr next week to check.
It fades and goes white over the course of the day but seems to be there though

Anyone know if this is untoward or something that's normal like tougher skin where I eat or something

I found a picture of my extraction with the same thing in same spot I had not noticed in 2012

No idea, but you are best getting it checked out as you are doing
