Has anyone tried any Nespresso compatibles.

If so which ones would you recommend?

Cheers,

Nigel

I assume that you mean that other than the Starbucks ones they didn't compare favourably with genuine Nespresso.

There is a recent Which report - does anyone have that.

Cheers,

Nigel

Nothing compares to genuine Nespresso capsules.

Even so, of those third-party capsules that I’ve tried (and it’s been quite a few), Starbucks’ Espresso, and L’Or Ristretto capsules are the best.

BTW, only L’Or manufacture their capsules in aluminium (like Nespresso).

Thanks,

Certainly a lit of compatible are priced at only a few pence cheaper than Nespresso so I can't see why people would take the risk.

However, at the moment I'm trying the Aldi Ristretto - these are pretty good and at 20p each are a significant saving over Nespresso.

Cheers,

Nigel

Anyone tried any of the refillable nespresso pods? Do they function well? Damage the machine at all?

Clearly a big appeal of the nespresso machine is its clean and simple but occasionally it'd be nice to be able to use other coffee blends without the need for a second machine.
