Morning, new week, new forum to pester with a couple of questions.
I do outdoor fitness (BMF) and with the temperature dropping need to do something about keeping warm. At the moment I have a base layer and shorts/tshirt which is fine, it's my feet and hands that end up freezing. I've tried running gloves and woolly gloves and neither particularly keep my hands warm, and once I'm into press-ups etc with hands on the cold ground they just get wet and become pretty much useless. Not sure if I need a different material, although not too keen in spending a fortune given how regularly they'd need washing and I'm either without them or need multiple pairs (again cost). Or if I should try two pairs, not sure which way round, woolly on the outside I'd think would still soak up water and become useless, and if they were inside something else would probably make my hands too warm? On the subject of socks I think it's a similar question, added in I'm not sure that two pairs of socks would be a good idea for the running side, might make feet move around more in my trainers?
What's odd is that I went through last winter without being too bothered about the cold but the past couple of weeks there's been a couple of sessions that's been biting cold to the point of toes going numb.
Thanks for any tips |
