I think you need to check when and how you are eating and as well as what you are eating. If there is a presence of insulin, you cannot burn fat. You will rather store. Consider these two examples:
1) John has a total calorie intake for a day of 2500. John only eats twice a day, ie, 10am and 4pm. Any snack or coffee is eaten at these particular times.
2) James has a total of 2000 calories a day. But this is how james eats in a day; Breakfast, snack, Lunch, snack and dinner (5x daily)
Even though James takes in 2000 and John takes 2500 calories, James will store more fats than John, who eats more calories. This is because, James trigger insulin, 5x whilst John trigger insulin only 2x.
Insulin is trigger store more fat so you have to also take it into consideration. ie, Lots of foods trigger insulin release, caffeine is one of them. |
