Day off today and had a load of chilies plus some 2/3 of a red cabbage left so thought I would pickle it all.
Did a couple of different pickling liquids
Red cabbage has malt vinegar, cinnamon, star anise, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and bay leaves.
Chilies have cider and white wine vinegar, coriander seeds, cumin, black pepper and bay leaves.
Will look forward to tucking into these in about a month. |
