Re: sugar: replace this with Xylitol. It tastes just like sugar (same texture) but without the calories of sugar or weird taste of artificial sweeteners. And believe it or not, its actually good for your teeth (many toothpastes contain this). On the downside its not cheap, around £10 a kilo and it should be kept away from pets as it can be fatal if swallowed by them...though i'm sometimes tempted to feed the neighbours cat with this to stop her crapping all over my lawn lol. Tesco's do a 'Total Sweet' xylitol pack for £1-£2 for a 250g pack so better to test out a smaller pack first. |
