We are at the Lux Belle Mare on the north east side. So completely opposite to you lol.

                                                                               

Funny its been year since I've been on a beach holiday and here it's only 23c but it feels like 30

Not sure whether it was on this topic or the purchased one but there was talk of beer cocktails.

So during our meal I tried one from their drinks menu. The Beer Codder. It was alright I guess. Bit sweet but I've have worse beers on their own. Wouldn't mind trying the beer on its own. Not had that Nation'ale yet.

I'm taking any offers/bets to try any of the other beer cocktails. Might need to zoom in on pic

We stayed in Mauritius for our anniversary a few years ago, Maritim Bay. Did a helicopter ride along the full coastal island, loved it. Prefer the Maldives mind. Enjoy [emoji41][emoji106]

Nice mate , we aiming to go back for an anniversary,  same time of year we went and it does feel hotter than charts , thankfully less humid though.

A trip to port Louis will get you some ice cold Guiness at the harbour front. And Black River Gorge is a good day out. Best food on an exclusive holiday we ever had , red snapper , whole baked Tuna and wild boar on a spit . Fantastic.

I've done the Maldives twice (3 weeks each time!). Only stayed at the (then) cheapest island of Kuredu. 1st excellent as it was basic yes, but a very, very relaxed vibe. 2nd time it had cell towers, water sports all across the best side/view of the island and lost its innocence. Still had the best suba diving in the world though.

Flip side was the 2nd time it was the place me and the ex split up so didn't really want to go back to any island.

Now it's even worse with a frick'n golf course and dress code.

We are staying for just 8 nights. Any more would be too costly and don't think our 8yo could stand to be away from us any longer. Plus wanted business class flights. We have such busy lives at home we wanted to just chill and recharge the batteries.  2 days running we've missed breakfast lol.  

While this place is very upmarket (but not up its own arse like the Oberoi which I was thinking about booking.) which while I disliked on Kuredu it's still excellent and the all inclusive is very good and the staff are just wonderful.

Anyway somepost some pics of beer!
