I'm on the Gordan's G&T at the mo...  Loving it, but a bit schloshed....  Think my measures have been a bit on the large side...

Damson Gin is also superb, try it. Bit of a tradition in some counties, including up here in Cumbria.

went for a walk this after hoping to see some sloe berries and we were in luck - managed to get over 2kg in a couple of hours... got 3 bottles of gin - but that's only used half the berries using a 50/50 ratio... rest are in the freezer now

We were discussing this at work last week. One guy heard that there should be a good crop this year, don't know where he got that from.

Midweek I'm going to take a look at the trees I got them from last year.

If all else fails I still have about a kilo in the freezer from last year.

yep, I'm not sure why there was a good crop thise year - as we looked last year and there were none at all on the same trees..!
