Hi guys & gals,

Just wondered if any one would recommend the scheme where they install them free of charge and keep the F.I.T's money in return you get a few free kilowatts a day.

Any feedback welcomed.

Irongiant - the Mod - has these free panels.

But I think that you may well have missed the boat, as these schemes are disappearing fast with the introduction of the new lower FIT.

Hi mate, thanks for replying well spoken to a company who say I have 3 days left as then the system will be ready before the price drop, thanks for the reply looking for any general feedback if there a good investment and so on.

They are not really an investment, as they don't cost anything!
So if your house is suitable and you can get them installed, why not? You will save a couple of hundred pounds a year on your electric bills. To make most use of solar, you might need to alter your habits ie put washing machines and dishwashers on during the day (but not at the same time).
