panel heater question

Hi all! I've just purchased a few panel heaters to take the chill off a few rooms, and after installing them on the walls,  I'm left with the cable from the plug.

I was simply going to tac them to the skirting,  but the angle the plug leads to the outlet makes this difficult: so, was wondering if it's ok to hide the wire behind the heater?
