Hi rich ,the best advice is the gas board route,as this will include a yearly service, don't think the pressure vessel is cracked as you would have seen more problems .Have seen one gas board eng was Impressed with his work just hope you get a good one.Did he check the pressure in the pressure vessel to eliminate that theory
I've disconnected the loop, there's seems to be a regular drip from the water feed, I also ran the CH for 20 mins and the pressure went back to 1.6.
Hopefully it won't go up anymore and its just that.
Yeah some 24 hours later and the filling loop is still dripping, plus moisture is coming out of the water inlet valve so the pressure was dropping, but has stabilised.
Hi Rich it looks like you're going to have to get some hands on help. I know this is going to cost money but I still think the Gas board solution is your best bet.Looks like new valves are needed some caps fitted for when the filling loop is disconnected a service all the best Steve
