I don't know where you get your information from.
All I know is the market and the negotiated selling price of a house. If a prospective purchaser requires solar panels as a 'must have' then those house will be looked at and houses without solar panels will be ignored.
However, in reality, such a purchaser is almost non-existent. There are many different requirements prospective purchasers look for in a property and solar panels is, in general, not high on the list. Most cases solar panels is not on the list but a south/west aspect is on the list.
Basically, it's all down to value for money and if a house is on the market 6-14% higher than other similar houses purely because it has solar panels, the chances are it won't sell. |
