I only ask because the local shops had an man out this morning with his access platform and a squeegee giving them a clean

AFAIK they have a special coating on them that self-cleans when it rains?
We have the water heating type and these have a coating

I assumed they would have a coating , but he was defo cleaning them. I guess someone had noticed a drop in efficiency , enough to warrant trying a clean

Have been told that panels at an angle of more than something like 30 degrees don't get dirty enough to warrant cleaning them.
