Solar PV plus Economy 7

Do people with SolarPV generally switch to Economy 7 since they are more likely to be pulling a greater portion of power from the grid overnight?

Currently using a horrendous amount of electricity - average 60kw per day (yes I know).  Looks like 25% of that is in night rate period and I’m looking to install 10 - 15 kw PV system which I’m hoping would halve my day rate usage meaning my night rate usage would be closer to 40%.

Thoughts?

Spoke to my renewable installer today and he said that yes economy 7 is a good idea once you have solar.  That’s another task on my list then!
