The ‘Feed In Tariff’ ended March, 2019. The Government is currently evaluating their consultation on the FIT replacement - known as the ‘Smart Export Guarantee’. This is likely to be legislated for by the Parliamentary Summer Recess.
Currently, to my knowledge, e.On and Octopus Energy are bridging the gap by offering post FIT installers payment for their exported energy.
Has anyone in that position, here, used either of these two companies in exporting their surplus energy to the grid? |
