I personally think we are going to end up with a Norwegian deal.

Free movement, free access to market, still pay in (just a lot less),couple of exclusion(fisheries etc) and absolutely no say in the direction of the EU.

Seems, ahem...worse?

Free movement is off the table.
Free trade without free movement is off the table.

Contenders....READY!!
Gladiators......READY!!

- A fast track visa for EU nationals looks odds on for me, that's if we haven't already got EU2 in place by the time of our departure.

Haha.

I can't see these negotiations going well. What I have seen coming out of the EU, is a message that 'the treaties are the treaties and thus, non-negotiable.'

I can't see us being able to cherry pick, or else, in that case what is even the point of the EU?

That's the one big question which has come up as a direct result of Brexit, I don't think the power balance in our exit negotiations is anywhere as near as one-sided as some may have you believe.

We are worth EUR50Bn to Germany alone, they might not be as keen to lose our custom as EU politcians are trying to make out.

Rather than looking at the UK as a little outsider with a begging bowl, you have ignore the left narrative and look how important the UK is to EU business.
We import more than we export and if trade barriers are erected between us and the EU who will be the biggest losers?

It is more to do with principles.

If Britain gets an amazing deal, what sort of message does that send out to current EU members.

It could potentially totally undermine the strength of the EU.

It'd be like a Broadband company giving a better deal to an old member as opposed to a current member. It alienates the current member. It isn't a good direction.

Not the best analogy, admittedly, but the point is there.

It's what's called posturing Mark, it's one of the fundamental elements of all negotiation.

Prefect analogy.  Brexit rivals BT's customer support as one of the greatest clusterf*cks of our age.

Really, never knew. Ta. So it is all planned after all and they are just pretending to be in disarray.
