I thought so. There has clearly been a big push by some of those advocating "disillusionment with politics" to try and promote the idea that voters simply didn't turn up and/or spoilt their ballot papers. But the results just don't support that. Taking the example given, even merging Malton and both Norton districts into one, there were only 56 corrupted votes collectively!
For avoidance of doubt, I am not blaming Goooner who was just relaying information in good faith. But it just goes to show how there are ongoing efforts to manipulate the narrative. |
