There are 114,000 jobs that locally support Heathrow, a further 22,000 in the London area. No airport = no job, and you want to build hundreds of new houses?

No. That is the Farage because his target audience doesn't get it would leave a large portion of Northumberland to the north.

Reading through a few times I think you are trying to say Hadrian's Wall isn't actually on the English - Scottish border. I knew that anyway but the post was intended to be humorous rather than factual. I assumed most would take it as such. If you prefer I could add in brackets "joke" if you prefer?

There was a non political, independent review carried out at the beginning of the year and their recommendation was an expansion of Heathrow vice any other UK airport.

Any review that instantly dismisses the most obvious, long term solution is bound to attract a lot of doubters.

Hey hey.  Let's expand Heathrow.  Take the pressure off a few more years and have the same issues in another decade or so.
