I do wonder what people's take on being prosecuted or punished for Liking a post on social media if for example that post was in support of the UK becoming an Islamic state.

I'm not talking about the minutia of technical differences between the contents of the post and the laws, but the general idea of supporting or opposing the prosecution or actions being taken against people for 'liking' or (similar actions) comments or ideas that are controversial.

I don't think people have the faintest idea how traceable they are on line.  AVF is fairly anonymous, but even here we frequently get requests for accounts to disappear due to stalking.  People let stuff slip that they'd never do in public, just look at the relationship threads in GC that quietly close.
