An attempt to commit rape is treated in much the same way as the full offence of rape - the starting point for attempted rape should normally be less than for the completed offence - which when contested is 5 years.

I'd be a little surprised if a woman would keep quiet for two attempted rapes, two indecent assaults and nine sexual assaults before going to the police or otherwise seeking help.

I assume it's at least more than one. There was two in the other investigation. Maybe others have come forward since.
