For promoting my act, I find that visiting venues is still the best way to get work. However, sometimes it's necessary to send out promotional material and I just wondered what works best for other musicians here?
I have a one-sheet EPK with a nice, snappy bio and links to testimonials and video clips on my website and, to be honest, I find it much easier to email that out. However, do certain bookers still prefer the old method of a press pack in a jiffy envelope? I'm thinking of hotels, holiday parks and cruise ships here. |
