I tried an ID30 TVP a couple of months ago and was blown away how good it sounded. Without the TVP it's like buying a Kebab without the Chilli sauce...

Fantastic amps.  I've got the ID:260 TVP and it's my favourite amp thus far.

I was in GuitarGuitar yesterday and they still have some clearance cubes left at ridiculous prices.  The 40XL was going for £119 I think.  It's even got a built in looper.  Had to have a strong word with myself as I almost bought one

Thx for the reply's guys, had 3 lessons thus far but only using my guitar teachers equipment. as the guitar i purchased via ebay last week the epiphone les paul standard was delivered by parcelforce and upon opening,i discovered it was broken and am currently embroiled in an argument with seller to get my money back.because of this i am noting your suggestions down but obviously need to sort this out first and try and find another epiphone Lp

If it's any reassurance Ebay are pretty good at siding with the buyer in any disputes. Don't muck about and insist on keeping all your responses through ebay mail and stick to the facts asking for the buyer to collect as it's damaged goods.

If he messes you about put a claim in. I've heard of cases where the seller lost both the ebay appeal and the item as he didn't collect in sufficient time. Ebay don't care they will just refund the money through paypal, it's not the sellers until ebay says it is.

My guess it is Parcelforce's fault but if the seller has any sense he will realise this and want your help putting in a claim against them.

EDIT - What's wrong with it out of interest, is the neck damaged or is it cosmetic?
Fixed "Buyer/seller", sorry drugged up today due to chest infection

I took it to a local guitar shop and they said it was unrepairable as its completely snapped where the neck meets the head.as for the seller well I had him insure it to the full value of the Lp but he packed it a trapezoid guitar cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap and and as parcelforce only allow guitars to be posted in a hard case wrapped in bubble wrap and then boxed the seller voided the insurance, I have stated this all on ebay with photos and a copy of parcelforces terms and conditions for posting guitars, sellers trying to argue that I should of unpacked the item with the parcelforce delivery guy there before signing which as im sure you know these guys dont wait as they got like 50 drops to do.also this point hes trying to argue is not required to be done by parcelforce, I did check the outside of the parcel but there was no damage to the outside.

As far as I can see, you've got nothing to worry about, 99% of the time eBay side with the buyer in my experience.

It's entirely the sellers problem to ensure the item arrives with the buyer in the conditioned described in the listing, if it doesn't, it's up to him to take it up with the courier, in this case Parcel Force.

I'm sure eBay will refund you pretty quickly, whether the seller likes it or not.

An Amplifi 75 went unsold on eBay today. A month old asking £150 for a £300 amp, absolute bargain.

Maybe record an unboxing video for delicate postal items to back up the buyers side of any claim.

It would be a good idea hyperfish for future high value ebay purchases not that i have many, but as said above he voided the parcelforce  insurance when he packed incorrectly to there terms and posted it to me.
