Hey everyone, Im back with more music for you. This time its a cover of Time Is Running Out by Muse I did with a friend. We have the original song as foundation and took the cover in a different, much heavier direction. I see it kind of as "when alt rock meets heavy metal".

I did the instrumental arrangements for this one, my friend did the vocals.

I wrote 2 guitar solos for this, one of them is fairly shreddy, and tried to explore a bit into alt-rock leads here.

Have a listen and let me know what you think!

Very good man, lead work is great as always!
You've inspired me to start work on a project I started years ago and never finished (metal version of Prodigys Wind it Up), at my rate it will be finished by 2018.

If I can get a rough cover/jam done in 2 weeks I'll be happy.

Forgot to ask, what did you use to make the drumtrack? I've heard of people making them in guitarpro as a midi file then exporting into a DAW, something I need to look into. Got a free version of ezdrummer lite with a midi controller a while back but haven't quite got my head around it yet.

All you need is to get it started, then take your time for as long as you need

And you pretty much got the way Im making drums, except for I use Addictive Drums for VST. Sounding pretty good for the price (100$ if I remember right).
