I'm in a strange position at the moment... I'm an elearning developer by day and, as some you will know, I produce music in my spare time and do a bit of sound recording for amateur films.
So, whilst I'm not a professional... I do know a lot about sound and I'm pretty good at it.
For my day job I often record podcasts and voiceovers, and I've learned how to make my voice sound quite good. So much so, that I'm often asked where I got the elearning voiceovers done... And my answer is simply 'I did it', which people can barely believe as it doesn't sound like me at all.
However, I'd like to improve further and maybe get to a point where I can expand my repertoire and do some bespoke recordings for others.
My style is smooth, relaxing and seams to work well for instructional videos.
Anyone interested in sharing ideas, recordings and tips? |
