Hi , I am currently repairing a Studiomaster Diamond mixing desk and I need to replace a couple of the line in jack sockets. Easy I thought, there'll be loads on ebay. But when I look closer at the original jacks , they are PCB mounted and it looks like there is no thread on them to allow for panel mounting. The socket just protrudes slightly thro the front panel. So my question is " Does anyone know of a supplier of 6.35mm PCB mount sockets that don't have a panel thread on them?"

Mono

Stereo

You need to ensure the pinout spacing matches. I dare RS Components & CPC will also have them.

Hi thanks for the info, I have now removed the channel card and can see the jack sockets much better now. There is a thread on the socket but it appears there is a smooth unthreaded part at the end that just protrudes thro the front panel. I have seen many similar to the ones you suggest but they appear to be threaded right to the end. I'm sure I could doctor one but at the moment I have ordered one from ebay which does appear to have an unthreaded area but it is smaller than existing one. So I'll just wait and see what arrives and see if it can be used. Thanks for your help.

Threaded would be much better as it relieves the strain from the PCB.
