New Pratchett [Guards Series] - Snuff

Just picked it up in Asda for a tenner, probably the same in Smiths during there half price top xx hardbacks.

I of course checked through all their stock to find one without a blemished dust jacket, and the checkout lady looked at me funny when I gave it to her, rather than have it on the belt, then took it from her hand before she could slide it down the checkout area. I think I would have scanned it myself if I could (didn't bother with self checkout as I had some Brahma)

My copy arrived on Saturday from Amazon (£10).  It's now at the bottom of a pile of 'Wheel of Time' books that I'm re-reading so it'll be a while before I get chance to read it.  I enjoy Vimes' exploits so I hope this one up to scratch.

I'm with you on protecting books .  I do worry when I lend them out sometimes...

How many Wheel of Time books have you got to finish.  If it's most of them, you won't be reading Snuff until 2013.

Looking forward to the last Wheel of Time book - little nervous though, as there is a lot of story and loose ends to tie up in a single book.

Oh no, just checked out Wiki and I see that 'A Memory of Light' is now down for Dec 2012 rather than the end of this year
